About
'Eclectic Country' a joint exhibition from Antony Warnes and Helen Knaggs.
Eclectic Country comprises over 30 works in a variety of styles – in fact this exhibition is charactised by the fact that there is no particular style. The subjects are as varied as the styles and colors, and range from seascapes of Great Barrier Island to the Albanian Boat Sheds of the Far East.
The figurative works range from a study of ‘Old Faces’ by Helen Knaggs to ‘No Frills Shoppers’ by Antony Warnes. There is the whimsical for those who enjoy something to make them smile and Helens ‘Worlds Fastest Indian’ work is certainly worth a look in. Antony has briefly returned to his lovely florals with a small series in oils and pastels titled ‘Robert Schumann’s Garden’. The exhibition will be on show at Harrisons Gallery from the 23rd January through until the 10th February 2010. For more details visit www.harrisonsgallery.com
