About
Mike Friend (The Butler, Happy Home Road, An Evening with Mr Pinter) directs three one act plays in one evening, including a brand new play written by Joe Bennett. It's a feast of theatre in one night. Either specify the play you'd like to see, or for only $20 spend the night at The Loons sampling all three very diverse and engaging pieces of theatre.
The evening kicks off at 7:30pm with an original comedy by Joe Bennett performed by Tom Trevella 'Stuck up the Alley'.
At 8:30pm the next play 'Old Flames' by E.A. Whitehead is a dark comedy best described as a battle of the sexes and features Darryl Cribb, Sophie Ewert, Toni Jones, Karuna Karasulas and Olivia Papuni.
At 9:30pm David Ladderman presents an original contemporary and comedic take on Shakespeare's King Lear titled 'Battle of the Bastards'.
The evening will conclude approximately 10pm.
Doors open 7pm. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the performances.
Cost $10 per play, or $20 for all three shows.
