Canterbury Museum
Starting at 4:35 am on Saturday 4 September 2010, the Canterbury region has been shaken by several large earthquakes and their consequent aftershocks. These earthquakes have already been acknowledged as some of the most significant events in Canterbury's history. In this exhibition these events are remembered, with a particular focus on the science of earthquakes, the human side of the disaster and the recovery, with a strong emphasis on looking forward to the future.
