The University of Canterbury will be hosting international experts in lifeline recovery from the USA and Japan from the 9th – 13th July 2012.
This public lecture is your chance to hear from these international experts on their experiences in post earthquake recovery of lifelines.
Specifically they will be talking about the 1994 Northridge Earthquake in California, and the 1995 Kobe Earthquake and 2011 Higashi-Nihon Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan.
Special focus will be on the recovery of water systems.
