At 6pm on Friday, 7 September at the Methven Heritage Centre, the doors will open and Mount Hutt College students will break out of their normal school routines with an evening’s programme showcasing and celebrating imagination and creativity.

A highlight of the evening will be our first ever Photography Exhibition. It’s titled ‘Not What You’d Expect’ and will comprise over 60 photos by Y7-13 students and staff. These will be mounted and available for purchase by ‘silent’ auction on the night. There will be short videos to watch in the theatrette, musical and other performances (including a mad science extravaganza), static displays of projects and work in progress, and finally, a concert in the auditorium featuring Mount Hutt’s talented Rock Bands.

We hope lots of parents and grandparents will make this a family evening and come along to experience the awesome hospitality of our incredible students. Information about how to get tickets and invitations to 2013 new entrants will be going out in Week 6. There will be a lucky ticket draw and no boring bits!
