About

This is the launch of Kathleen Gallagher's fascinating environmental feature calling us to a closer intimacy with our skies.

The film brings together farmers, fishermen and celestial navigators who follow the stars, scientists and business people who develop clean ways of harnessing energy for industry and cleaning up polluted skies and astronomers who watch and listen to the sky, the moon and the stars.

• These are free events!
• Everyone is invited to bring a picnic to the Gardens to enjoy before the film begins.

SEMINAR

A seminar with guest speakers featuring in the movie will run during the day from 2 - 5pm, and will be held at the Christchurch Netball Centre, South Hagley Park.

OUTDOOR FILM SCREENING

This promises to be a Festival highlight! 'Sky Whisperers Ranginui' Outdoor Film Screening will be held in the Botanic Gardens on the Archery Lawn, beginning at 8pm.
