About
Heathcote River Day is a local favourite and is back again on Sunday 21 March 2010.
The journey down the Heathcote River traditionally includes all kinds of weird and wacky homemade crafts. This community event is great fun not only for those on the water, but also for those watching from the waters edge. So take time over the holidays to design a homemade raft and join in the fun!
Race Information Packs will be available in the New Year from the Beckenham Service Centre/South Christchurch Library, 66 Colombo St or email sarah.benton@ccc.govt.nz.
Registration is FREE for all participants! Kindly supported by the Spreydon Heathcote Community Board.
Start Point: Heathcote River jetty opposite Waltham Lido Swimming Pool. Finish Point near Hansen Park, followed by a bbq at St Martins Scout Den.
