On Loud Shirt Day, everyone goes to work or school in their loudest, brightest shirts and makes a donation to support deaf children with a cochlear implant. All donations from individuals and businesses in the Southern region will go directly to the Southern Cochlear Implant Programme, which is based in Christchurch.
