The largest and most successful Santa Parade held in the South Island.

A quarter of the region will line the streets of Christchurch at 2pm on Sunday December 4th to watch the 2011 Santa Parade, presented by the Christchurch Children's Christmas Parade Trust.

The route for this year's parade will be Riccarton Road from Wharenui Road to Mandeville Street approximately.

The parade will assemble in Wharenui Road from Riccarton Road back to Blenheim Road and disband in Mova Vale Ave, (just over the railway line), Riccarton Road to Deans Ave and Ayr Street.

Let's make this parade one to remember and for a couple of hours forget about the events of the past 12 months!

Celebrities, spectacular floats, popular characters, clowns, animals and music will feature in the Parade. You can all be a part of it!
