About
Seven community get-together's to celebrate the joy of the holiday season!
Activities vary at each free or low cost event.
Bexley - Sunday 27th November, 11am to 2.00pm - Harold Henry Park, Wetlands Grove
Cancelled if wet. Community cheer with fun for everyone, including bouncy castle, sausage sizzle, face painting, kids races, tug o war, music, and a lolly scramble with Santa.
Dallington - Friday 9th December, 5.30pm to 7.30pm - Burwood Park, Cresswell Ave
If wet postponed until Saturday 10th December. Carol singing with Linwood Salvation Army band, sausage sizzle, bouncy castle and kids lolly scramble.
Northshore - Sunday 11th December, 4.30pm to 7.00pm - Aston Reserve, Aston Drive
If wet postponed until Monday 12th December. Brass band-carol singing, BBQ, sports activities, donkey rides, and lolly scramble with Santa.
Parklands/Queenspark - Sunday 11th December, 5.00pm to 6.30pm - Parklands Reserve
If wet relocated to Parklands Baptist Church, 180 Queenspark Drive. Carols in the Park, a time to gather with our community and celebrate the Christmas season.
New Brighton - Saturday 17th December, 9am to 2pm - New Brighton Mall, Seaview Rd
Cancelled if wet. Join the New Brighton Silver band and South Brighton Choir in the mall as part of the Community Carols Market.
Aranui/Wainoni - Saturday 17th December, 7.00pm to 9.00pm - Salvation Army, Aranui, Cnr Portsmouth and Aldershot Streets
Christmas Carols in the car park with Brass Band followed by supper.
New Brighton - Saturday 24th December, 7.00pm to 8.00pm - Grace Vineyard Church - Beach Campus, 111 Seaview Rd
Glimpses and celebration! A Christmas Carol event for the whole family. Free Christmas supper, giveaways, art displays and carol singing. Children encouraged to dress-up.
