After being cancelled last year it is a great milestone to have this fun, family festival returning. Running over the first two weekends of November (3rd, 4th and 10th, 11th) the program is full of exiting walks for all ages, abilities and interests! There are lots of unique and exciting walks this year from a camping trip to quail island, to a backyard chook walk, from a chance to explore Living Springs to a family treasure hunt around Lyttelton. Most walks will cost just five dollars (children free), with the proceeds going to the Lyttelton Information and Resource Centre Trust. The festival is brought to you by Project Lyttelton and sponsored by Christchurch City Council, Canterbury Community Trust, Hiking New Zealand, and the Rod Donald Banks Peninsula Trust.
