Calling all shoppers, bargain hunters & seaside lovers...
Every Sunday Sumner Village hosts a fantastic seaside market from 10am to 2pm.
Stalls feature a range of quality accessories, kids gear & jewellery. Clothes, vintage wares, wine, artworks, antiques and much more.
Enjoy culinary delights and live entertainment. Added bonus of plenty of great village specials at the local shops, cafes and restaurants. The Christchurch City’s library van is also at the market.
Throughout the summer, market goers will also be able to help mosaic a large chair for the green and get involved with a range of artisan demonstrations.
With a strong community focus, a different local volunteer group or sports club will be represented each week as well as a children’s stall.
Carols & Mulled Wine can be enjoyed at the Christmas market on the 21st December and it’s all about kids on the 22nd February with heaps of entertainment for all ages.
Dates: Every Sunday from 19th October 2014 through to Autumn 2015
Hours: 10am to 2pm
Venue: the temporary Sumner Village Green on Wakefield Avenue in the centre of the village, just a stone’s throw from the beach front.
