Operating since 2009 the JD Duathlons are a safe, inclusive series of events suitable for all ages and all levels of ability.
Race #1 is held at Ruapuna raceway which means a smooth road surface with no cars.

- Open, & teams 2.4km run (2 laps) / 16.5km bike (5 laps) / 2.4km run (2 laps)
- Novice & Junior (13-19 year olds)1.3km run (1 laps) / 13.2km bike (4 laps) / 1.3km run (1 laps)
- Youth (9-12 year olds) 800m run / 6.4km bike (2 lap) / 1.3km run (1 lap)
- Kids - a short run/bike/run
