New Year's Eve Party

New Year’s Eve returns to North Hagley Park to cram some literally last-minute thrills into 2015 and welcome 2016 in the toe-tapping style that Christchurch has become accustomed to.

This alcohol-free celebration has something for the whole family. From 6.30pm enjoy a kids party with entertainment and games followed by a Kids Countdown to “midnight” at 8.30pm.

From 9pm, entertainment from the Vague As Brothers, D’sendantz and the New Entrants. At midnight, fireworks will blast off over Lake Victoria, while the New Entrants and piper play Auld Lang Syne.
