Buskers Burlesque

19 Jan to 28 Jan

Miss Behave: A facilitator of people’s good times. A crowd dominatrix with a friendly twinkle. The perfect Mistress of Ceremonies. You may have seen her last year in Miss Behave's Gameshow.

Jett Adore: Jett Adore is the Las Vegas Burlesque Hall of Fame’s “Most Innovative 2011”. "Jett's innovative, artistic, silly, sexy, scandalous, sophisticated, elegant, and elaborately theatrical performances are male striptease at it's finest." Jett has headlined in shows and festivals all over the world in over 50 cities, most recently throughout Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the US.

Chris Harder: Chris Harder is a North Dakota raised, New York based male burlesque performer—think “Raunchy Romeo of Burlesque!” Harder has stripped and teased (and then some) around the world including stops in L.A., Key West, London, Berlin, Vienna, Paris, Brussels, Stockholm, and Amsterdam. Both sexy and humorous, Chris Harder’s burlesque is “beefcake with a twist,” parodying classic Americana references like the cowboy, the pizza delivery man, and the “Big Spender.”

The Two Wrongies: The Two Wrongies celebrate and re-interpret the double act in a funny, crude, un-restrained honest sort of way. Pushing the Locker Room mentality in a brave exposé of the sexual psyche, their onstage relationship, playful rivalry and absurdist humour is not for the faint hearted.

Ali McGregor

Ali McGregor started her career as a principal soprano with Opera Australia in 2000. After performing over 25 roles she crept into The Famous Spiegeltent one night beginning her love affair with cabaret eventually running away with the circus, joining hit show La Clique (La Soiree) in 2005.

She has been nominated for a Green Room Award 3 times, winning for best supporting actress in an Opera for La Cenerentola and was awarded the Three Weeks Editor's Choice award in Edinburgh 2013. She has also performed with Broomhill Opera Company & Clonter Opera Company in the UK and most recently Melbourne Opera Company, taking the title role in The Merry Widow.

In 2015 she was awarded a Green Room Award for 'Contribution to Cabaret' and was also named as Barry Humphries successor, alongside Eddie Perfect, as Artistic Director of Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
