From Ziggy Stardust to the Thin White Duke, very few musicians can claim to have reimagined the world of modern music the way David Bowie has.

New Zealand’s own music heroes, Jon Toogood, Julia Deans, Anna Coddington and Laughton Kora will come together to celebrate Bowie’s outstanding career that spanned over forty years and perform from a catalogue that produced 27 studio albums, 9 live albums, and 121 singles, including 5 UK number-ones.

Rock’s greatest chameleon created dazzling arrangements and towering melodies that lend to the CSO’s seductive symphonic force. It is an immense pleasure for the CSO to present this concert event to our Christchurch audience.
