Gun Show Arms and Militaria
Saturday 22 Jul
Our 12th annual show on July 22 Wow, the 2014 Show continues to present world-class diorama and reenactment displays and a wide range of sales tables.
Many attendees over recent years have stated "I was so impressed by the displays I needed more time to see them all so I had to come back later in the day"
Many children (including some big kids) enjoyed the many interactive dispalys handling pistols, stripping Machine Guns and having a ’sword fight’ with a Knight in shining armour.
Following our very successful 11th show in 2016 (including the presentation of the Best Display Robin Rapley Memorial Trophy) we are proud to announce that the next Mainland Arms and Militaria Gun Show Special Event is world renowned researcher and publisher Ian Skennerton who be promoting a new direction with his DVD Small Arms Live series that enhance his extensive book list. Together they provide a formidable entree in the world of Militaria, firearms and associated equipment.
Many world-class displays of items from WW1, including a NZ Mounted Rifles mannequin horse pack saddle display complete with Medical Corps wicker baskets and associated equipment and Britsh and German Machine Guns have been confirmed along with sales tables and collectors displays of firearms, ammunition, antiques, medals, badges, uniforms, collectables, swords, bayonets, scale models and books.
Also on display will be military vehicles, a bayonet practice station, Mock fighting between medieval Knights, machine gun stripping and a WW2 German living history campsite.
