Celebrate the innaugural NZ IceFest with fine cuisine from renowned Christchurch chefs Richard Till, Jonny Schwass, Andrew Brown and Tina Duncan. Join them on a culinary mission to capture our 100 year relationship with Antarctica.

Experience a four course Antarctic menu starting with cuisine inspired by the heroic explorers of "The Ice" through to 'science on a plate". All capped off with an extraordinary taste of MacKinlay’s Rare Old Highland Malt – the replica edition of Shackleton’s whisky found preserved in ice for almost 100 years under Shackleton’s cabin.

The whisky will be presented by none other than NZ’s finest dram-storyteller - Michael Fraser Milne and the superb menu will be presented by Christchurch favourite - White Tie Catering.

Come for the food, the Antarctic yarns and the unique setting of the UC Geo Dome at the Hagley Park Ice Station.

$165 per head (includes 4 courses and wine) or $1550 for table of 10+ $3 booking fee.

Dedicated Parking for dinner guests on Friday has been made available at Cathedral Grammar. This is for dinner guests only. There will be a family opening night on Friday for NZ Icefest at the same time, so Botanic Gardens parking will be limited.

Please show your dinner ticket to the security at the school entrance off Chester St West. The parking is available from 6pm.

10% of the ticket price goes to the Tree Planting Project to offset our carbon footprint.
