The Christchurch Farmers' Market is turning 7 and we would love you to come and celebrate with us!

We will be opening a new area with more stalls and picnic space, this will have a stage, coffee machine and bar in Taste Events marquee!!

The chefs of Riccarton House Bistro will be whipping up a BIG birthday cake - (Beetroot and Dark Chocolate) so market goers can all have a piece. YUM!

Also our lovely stallholder Vincie from Gretchens Scones will be making an amazing hand crafted birthday cake for all to enjoy...Yes thats right TWO birthday cakes!!

To get in the spirit we will also be shouting 50L of Wigram pilsner between 12-1pm!

As for entertainment we have Willie McArthur as well as Robbie & Burke singing some tunes, Ballloon twisting and animals and face painting!

There is an opportunity for the children to have their own food stall for the day, with all proceeds from stall fees going to KidsCan! Get in contact with us to register your childs stall. Children's stalls are $10 for the day.

We are also going to harvest our childrens vege garden and make bread and free range omelettes which children will be cooking and selling to raise money for KidsCan.

There will be a Renault Colouring Competition: WIN a Renault Megane Hatch for the Weekend, they will be there on the day! Get in early and download the coluring competition now... the downloadable picture is found under our events guide part of the website.

This is a free event which is humming with activities so come along and enjoy our usual amazing market stalls and get involved in the special festivities!
