The Christchurch Belgium Beer and Mussel Festival offers the opportunity to discover some of Belgium's best beers served by local beer enthusiasts. Some of the beers on offer include Leffe, Hoogaarden, Stella Artois (we will have a special batch imported all the way from Belgium in 750 ml bottles), Belle-vue kreik all on tap. There will also be some interesting bottled beers available.

We will have our very own Paul McGurk from Wigram Brewing Company brew a special one-off inspired Belgium beer for this event.

Entrance is only $10 (presales), includes beertopia glass, and beer prices are very reasonable! Credit card and eftpos facilities available on the day.

Live music from 2pm - The line up includes Hera, House of Mountain, Happiness Stan, Lupus Lunar, Soul System, The Unfaithful Ways

4pm - beer and chocolate matching from She Chocolate

5pm – Beer thoughts from Paul McGurk of Wigram Brewing co

Tapas Style Food is on offer throughout the day with smoked mussel platters, mussel and saffron soup, mussel fritters, 1kg steamed mussels, mussel and fish kebabs, mussel fennel and saffron potato's, mussel paella, lest we forget the humble potato as our chefs will make an array of pommes frites and aioli.

So Pucker-up and break-out the Tums for this beer adventure matched by no other!
