The Opawa Farmers' Market prides itself on a having a strong contingent of local growers supplying an abundance of fresh local produce - predominantly organic/spray free.

Local artisan producers offer free range eggs, freshly baked breads, cheeses, mouth-watering ready to eat foods and much more. Come and experience the relaxing and friendly atmosphere at this popular Sunday market.

This month the Opawa Farmers' Market is celebrating its awesome array of mushrooms on offer.

Their selection ranges from the classic white button and Portobello varieties to the more exotic Oyster and Shiitake mushrooms - all grown here in Canterbury.

Stallholders will also be preparing some delicious mushy concoctions to tempt your tastebuds.

The Opawa Farmers' Market is located at 275 Fifield Terrace, next to the Rudolf Steiner School.
