The Backup dancers are back! Well actually they never left. As fate would have it, they were still in Christchurch for the February quake and subsequently got their costumes stuck in a hotel room in the CBD. Never ones to look a gift horse in the mouth, they decided to make the most of their situation and set up camp in the Garden City.

“We love it here, we are world famous in Christchurch and no quakes are stopping us!”

The festival marks the opening (and closing) of their “DON'T CHA WISH” Tour at the TUI BIRDCAGE BAR (R18)… a tour dedicated to finding their true loves…..at any cost.
