About
A quiet girl, with a quirky side, from Christchurch, New Zealand - Kim is most happy to share her bubblegum/folk/skiffle tunes with willing listeners.
Kim has been involved with music from a young age and more recently branched off from Christchurch girl band 'Aviatour' (which disbanded in 2006 after 5 years of playing) to focus on her love for more folky sounds. Kim can often be spotted with odd improvised-instruments such as slinkys and typewriters to add to her mostly acoustic sound.
Kim has finished her first EP entitled 'The Book Fell Open' (some of the songs are up on myspace player).
There are a few limited-edition, hand-crafted CDs available at her shows as well standard copies which are soon to be released in Christchurch stores and online.
Kim K's music video for 'Creatures of the Night' ('Sky is falling') will be online soon.
You can request Kim K's songs on Christchurch radio station RDU 98.5fm (tel. 3488 610).
