About
Woolston Brass pays tribute to the 1953 and 1962 National Bands of New Zealand.
In 1953 the National Band of New Zealand sailed off to England where it beat the best of British by winning the Edinburgh Festival and the British Open Championships. In 1962 the National Band again won the Edinburgh Festival as well as the World Music Festival in the Netherlands.
Join current New Zealand Champions Woolston Brass as they pay tribute to the champion bands of the past by performing music from the repertoire of the day.
