About
The Canterbury Charity Hospital Trust is a registered charitable trust formed to provide free, elective day surgery and medical outpatients clinics to those who would otherwise not have access to them. The trust has been holding the Charity Classic bike ride as a fundrasing event since 2007. Each year the event has grown and so has our commitment to the event. All proceeds from this event go directly to the trust the funds being used as part of the administration costs that occur when running a free hospital service.
The Event starts and finishes at Cust Domain a large reserve in the township of Cust. The race starts in the reserve then heads on a downward section towards Rangiora. It then passes through the outskirts of Rangiora and heads to Loburn. From Loburn it passes through a rollowing hill section towards the Ashley Gorge, finally turning left to a lovely downhill section onto German Road. Over Somerhill then left back to the start Cust Domain, Mill Road Cust.
