Gravity Canterbury's downhill mountain biking summer series gets underway with Race 1 in Vic Park. It's a 3-race series and the first is always the easiest...Give it a go or come and watch some spectacular downhill mountain bike riding, right on the city's doorstep. Practice runs all morning (from 9am), then seeding and final race runs will start from about noon onwards. Racce village and registration etc is at the hills end of Bowenvale Ave.
Canterbury is home to some to some of the top 20 downhillers in the world - could you be next?!
Spectators welcome - park on Bowenvale Ave and walk up, or park in Vic Park and make your way across to the marked tracks.
