Feeding the Natives: RDU Live Gig at the Museum
Friday 29 Apr
Celebrate 'folk-noir' with three acts who have embraced the alternative side of the genre in the first of four live gigs at the Museum as part of Alternative Radio: RDU98.5FM since 1976.
Delaney Davidson brings with him Joe McCallum, a seasoned professional and Scottish marching drum 'saboteur' who, together with the Spanish tinge of Nicole Isabel Garcia completes the three-piece Manos Del Chango.
Lawrence Arabia joins the line-up as a solo performer, on the cusp of his next album release. He will play material from the upcoming record as well as beloved songs from his back catalogue.
A richness of voice, a depth of emotion, wisdom beyond her years, Nadia Reid is one of New Zealand's most evocative and profound young song writers.
