Sculpture on the Peninsula 2017

11 Nov to 12 Nov 2017

Sculpture on the Peninsula is the largest sculpture exhibition in the South Island and features the work of many of New Zealand's finest sculptors.  Held every two years, the event launched in 2000 and has grown in size and reputation to include contributions from many renowned as well as emerging artists.

The event is held on a picturesque working farm and sculptures are sited outside, on and within many of the existing farm buildings and out buildings.  Cafe food and  assorted beverages are available on site, although visitors are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy this unique and spectacular event.

The gates open daily at 9.30 am and tickets can be purchased on entry.  Entertainment includes music from The Eastern and a circus theatre show for children day.

All work on display is for sale and proceeds from the event go to Cholmondeley - a residential care facility for children in crisis.   Don’t miss this superb opportunity to enjoy a fabulous day in an amazing setting and contribute to a worthy cause.
